Board of Public Works & Safety

The Board of Public Works & Safety consists of up to three members, appointed to four-year terms by the Mayor. Members who are not employees or elected or appointed officials of the City administration are paid $50 per month.

Meetings: 8:30 AM on the first and third Monday of each month in the Council Chambers at City Hall.

To request an item of consideration for the Board of Public Works & Safety for various City events (street closures, parades, walks and runs, to use City property, etc.), please complete and submit the online Board of Public Works & Safety Request Form. Deadline for items to be brought to the City Clerk's Office to be put on the Board of Public Works & Safety agenda is 12:00 noon the Wednesday prior to the Board's meeting date.
