The Easter Egg Hunt is now a “Drive-Thru” event\, Saturday\, April 4 in Washington Park. “The forecast for Saturday looks bad\, so we made the change so that the kids still enjoy the treats\,” said Special Events Director Terry Greetham. “We will miss seeing 20\,000 eggs disappear in a matter of minutes\, but at least the children will still get something from the Easter Bunny.” Cars will enter Washington Park at the main entrance and be routed to the Senior Center. Cars will receive one Easter bag per child in the car. Bags will only be given to children present in the vehicle. Cars can arrive and line up at 11:30 am\, and the drive-thru will start at 12:00 pm.
