The 17th Annual Award-Winning XINSURANCE Great Lakes Grand Prix returns to Michigan City for a week of high-speed excitement July 27–August 2, 2026, at Washington Park. This premier offshore powerboat racing event showcases some of the world’s fastest and most powerful boats as they race along the southern shores of Lake Michigan, with incredible viewing from Washington Park Beach and the surrounding shoreline.
In addition to thrilling races, this free, week-long celebration features community events including a boat parade, block party, golf outing, live entertainment, brewfest, family-friendly activities, festival food and drinks, meet-and-greet opportunities, VIP experiences, and dramatic flyovers. Fans can also get up close with boat owners, racers, and teams throughout Washington Park for an unforgettable motorsports experience.
